THE STEADY STATE DEBUTS NEW VIDEO SERIES TITLED “THE DAILY SWAMP” EXPOSING CORRUPTION

WASHINGTON — The Steady State, an organization of more than 440 former national security, intelligence, diplomatic, military, law enforcement, and homeland security officials, is excited to announce the debut of a new video series designed to shed light on and analyze systemic corruption across domestic and international sectors.

Hosted by retired USAF Colonel and former NASA Astronaut Terry Virts, the series debuts September 14, providing short, daily commentary on how systemic corruption impacts democratic governance. Drawing on his military and spaceflight experience, Virts connects local corruption to global disparity.

“Corruption has a deeply personal importance to me because of my time in space,” Virts stated. Observing global lighting patterns from orbit, he noted that wealth disparities—such as the stark contrast between bright northern continents and largely dark Africa—are heavily driven by corruption and broken political systems.
