What We Built
The institutions of constitutional government were built through generations of crisis, reform, and public service. Their endurance depends on whether Americans continue to value the principles behind them.
Our national-security and democratic institutions were not inevitable. They were built by people who recognized problems, learned from failures, argued across political lines, valued and evaluated professional advice, created mechanisms of accountability and, above all, believed that constitutional government was worth protecting. Those same institutions are now being weakened by political loyalty, executive overreach, corruption, institutional dismantling, and the erosion of civic trust. And just as institutions can be weakened, so can they be defended.

THE MISSION
This week The Steady State filed a Complaint against FBI Director Patel with the U.S. Office of Special Counsel to investigate Patel’s for the violation of the Hatch Act.
We continue our nationwide endorsement effort to help ensure Congress is filled with leaders who will protect the Constitution and defend the rule of law. And we file criminal referrals to push back corruption and this administration’s lack of respect for that rule of law.
