THE STEADY STATE ENDORSES MADELEINE DEAN FOR PENNSYLVANIA’S 4TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Steady State, an organization of more than 420 former national security, intelligence, diplomatic, military, law enforcement, and homeland security officials, today endorsed Madeleine Dean for Pennsylvania’s 4th Congressional District.

Madeleine Dean represents Pennsylvania’s Fourth Congressional District and is currently serving her fourth term in the U.S. House of Representatives. A graduate of La Salle University and Delaware Law School, she served as an Abington Township Commissioner and Pennsylvania State Representative before being elected to Congress in 2018. In Congress, Dean has built a foreign policy profile through her service on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Madeleine Dean demonstrates a consistent commitment to the rule of law, execution to democratic norms, and exhibits a substantive understanding of the national security challenges facing the country that the organization’s criteria requires.

“We’ve seen firsthand what happens when institutions are allowed to erode. Madeleine Dean understands the stakes as clearly as we do.” said Steven Cash, Executive Director of The Steady State.
