THE STEADY STATE ENDORSES RAY BILGER FOR PENNSYLVANIA’S 15TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

WASHINGTON — The Steady State, an organization of more than 420 former national security, intelligence, diplomatic, military, law enforcement, and homeland security officials, today endorsed Ray Bilger for Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District.

Ray Bilger is running for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 15th District. Born in Bellefonte and raised in Pleasant Gap, he grew up with working-class values instilled by his father, a factory worker, machinist, and veteran, and his mother, who raised three children. He entered the Air Force in 1986 as an Airborne Cryptologic Linguist, serving in Desert Shield and Desert Storm over a 35-year career as a security officer and intelligence analyst for the Air Force, National Security Agency, and State Department. He most recently served as NSA Technical Director for Cyber Analysis from 2015 to 2017.

Ray Bilger demonstrates a consistent commitment to the rule of law, supports nonpartisan oversight and accountability of the Executive Branch, exhibits a substantive understanding of the national security challenges facing the country, and upholds the democratic norms and ethical standards of public service that the organization’s criteria require.
